PerformMinneapolis is the City’s performance management process. It follows an annual cycle of:
  • Planning – setting work expectations and standards
  • Monitoring – regular conversations between employee and supervisor about work
  • Recognizing – rating performance against work expectations that were set at the beginning of the year, and job success factors; and acknowledging the employee’s contribution to department and City success


To support the PerformMinneapolis process, the City uses Halogen software.
