Project overview

The Public Works Department in partnership with the Health Department and Our Streets Minneapolis will host three events in September and October located at the sites of upcoming street projects, ranging from Safe Routes to School improvements, to quick build safety improvements, and reconstruction.

We invite community members who live, work and play along these streets to join us at these events. Community members, City project staff and representatives from Our Streets Minneapolis will walk along the route of the anticipated projects to share feedback and provide input on their experience using the street. Participants are encouraged to talk about their vision for the future of the street and answer a survey about street design elements that they’d like to see brought to reality.

The goal of this project is to prioritize the needs of people who will bike, walk and roll along these streets and have their feedback directly influence the design of the street.
