Ways to earn points
There are many ways to earn points - some old and some new! We’ve highlighted many of them, but the best way to understand your point-earning potential is to register and start exploring the Virgin Pulse platform.
Onsite biometric screening events
Several work site biometric screening events are scheduled for this spring and summer. Find the most up to date appointments and scheduling instructions in the Benefits tab on the Virgin Pulse site or app. Click on “LabCorp Biometric Screenings,” “Start Now” and then “Onsite Screening.”
Health and wellness classes
There are a variety of health and wellness classes you can to earn points! We add classes to our schedule throughout the year, so check back often. You will receive a link for joining the class after you register. After the class, claim your points by entering the name of the class and date you attended on Virgin Pulse in the program section, you can log up to four wellness classes for 250 points.
How to get started
When you register for an account on Virgin Pulse, you can access the program through a computer or an app on your phone or tablet. Follow these instructions to get started
Rewards
You can use the points you earn toward gift cards, to shop in the Virgin Pulse store, or make a donation to a cause you support.* If you'd like an activity tracker to make the most of the program, you can get a Max Buzz tracker for $10 or 2,000 points in the Virgin Pulse store. For 2024, the total maximum for gift card rewards is $465 per year. Here is how you earn:
- 2,000 points earns a $10 gift card
- 3,000 points by August 31st earns the lower wellness premium contribution rate on your 2025 City of Minneapolis Medical Plan
- 10,000 points earns a $20 gift card
- 25,000 points earns a $50 gift card
- 40,000 points earns a $80 gift card
- Meet the 20-Day Triple Tracker activity threshold to earn a $25 bonus reward each month. That is $300 a year for just keeping it moving 20 days in a month.
*The value of rewards you earn is subject to income tax withholding on your paycheck, and will appear quarterly when you earn the reward.
