The fitness center is open to all City employees only, and not available to family or friends.

Personal trainer

The fitness center specialist from Healthsource Solutions is a certified personal trainer who teaches a variety of classes that focus on:

  • Building strength.
  • Improving cardiovascular health.
  • Increasing flexibility.

In addition, they can provide equipment orientations, fitness assessments, stretch and meditation breaks, personal exercise planning, and wellness consults.

Hours of staffing

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday:  6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday:  10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Employees can try out a variety of classes at the fitness center, at no cost. Join the fitness center to try vinyasa yoga, monthly challenges, marathon training programs, and more.

Yoga with Gabrielle 

It doesn’t matter what your neighbor looks like, every body is different.  Try a new way to build strength while calming your mind. If you concentrate on following the guided poses you won’t think about your to-do-list. This class meets on Wednesdays at 4:30, sign up for a calendar hold or just show up.

Yoga for every body with Jennifer Gray

Designed especially for all sizes and body shapes who want to try yoga but just not sure about all of those poses. Gain trust and find enjoyment in moving your body, laugh and have fun.
