January 6, 2017: The project will be presented to the Bicycle Advisory Committee Engineering Subcommittee on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 between 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Colonial Warehouse Building, 212 3rd Avenue North, Suite 404 and the Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Infrastructure & Engineering Subcommittee on Thursday, January 19, 2017 between 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Minneapolis City Hall, 350 5th Street South, Room 212.

February 24, 2017: Public Works is hosting a second project open house with the CARAG and ECCO neighborhoods on March 9, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bryant Square Park Recreation Center (3101 Bryant Avenue South). Project staff will be on hand to share different concepts for the street, seek feedback, and answer questions. All are welcome to attend.
March 9, 2017: The project will be presented to the Bicycle Advisory Committee Engineering Subcommittee on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 between 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Colonial Warehouse Building, 212 3rd Avenue North, Suite 404 and the Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Infrastructure & Engineering Subcommittee on Thursday, March 16, 2017 between 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Minneapolis City Hall, 350 5th Street South, Room 212.
March 10, 2017: The materials presented at the March 9, 2017 open house have been posted in the Open House #2 section above, including concept options for the design of the Lake Street to 31st Street segment and 31st Street to 36th Street segment. Based on community feedback and further technical review, Public Works will select a preferred concept and provide a recommendation to City Council this spring. Please provide feedback on the corridor concepts to project staff by March 27, 2017 - see contact details below.
April 13, 2017: Public Works will hold a third informational meeting to present the recommended concept for Hennepin Avenue and discuss next steps for the project. This meeting is a follow up to two project open house meetings held in January and March of 2017. The third meeting will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and will include a presentation by project staff.
April 28, 2017: The materials presented at the April 27, 2017 project meeting have been posted in the Project Meeting #3 section above, including the staff recommended layout for Hennepin Avenue. Public Works anticipates seeking City Council approval for the layout in June 2017.
June 30, 2017: City Council approved the staff recommended layout for Hennepin Avenue. The approved layout can be found under the "Project Documents" section.
November 2, 2017: Note to all businesses, residents, stakeholders, and concerned parties, exploratory boring work will be done on Hennepin Avenue between Lake and 36th Street on Monday, November 6. Permits have been obtained and NO PARKING signs will be in place. Please see the attachment for more information. Thank you for your interest and cooperation.
February 21, 2018: A Public Hearing for the project will be held during the Transportation and Public Works Committee of the Minneapolis City Council on Tuesday February 27th, 2018 at 10:00am. The hearing will be held at Minneapolis City Hall, Room 317, 350 5th Street South.

February 22, 2018, 9:30-10:30am at Walker Library, Calhoun Meeting Room, 2880 Hennepin Avenue South
The same information will be presented at both meetings. The main purpose for the meetings will be to discuss assessments. We will provide information on how the assessments are calculated, when they would start to be collected, and how they would be collected.
