Mid-City Industrial reconstruction

The City of Minneapolis will be reconstructing several street segments totaling 2.2 miles in the Mid-City Industrial Neighborhood in 2019 and 2020. The project area is generally bound on the north by

Project phases

Phase I work began in 2018 and Phase II work began in 2019. See details about the two phases of this project below.

Phase I

Phase I of the Mid-City Industrial project includes segments of the following streets, which are scheduled to be finished in 2020:

Arthur St NE
Cleveland St NE
Broadway St NE
Kennedy St NE (west of Taft St NE)
Summer St NE
Taft St NE
Traffic St NE

All of these segments total 1.5 miles in the Mid-City Industrial neighborhood.

Vegetation establishment at the filtration pond might be finalized in 2020.
