Online Fire Permitting coming soon

Beginning in summer 2023, customers will be able to apply for Fire Operational, Special Event, and Fireworks Sales permits online, using ProjectDox. ProjectDox is an interactive software system and web portal for submitting permits and plans directly on our website.

What does this mean for you?

When ProjectDox goes live, you will need to create a ProjectDox account. If you’re currently a ProjectDox user, simply continue using and submitting applications with your current account.

Applications, attachments, photos, and plans will be uploaded directly into ProjectDox. You'll be notified by email at each step in the process, including if we need more information from you, or to let you know the permit has been approved. You'll be able to log in and check the permit status at any time.

What's next, and what else is changing?

Once available, you will be able to create your account or access the portal using your current credentials. The portal will explain how to register.

There won't be changes to the way you communicate with us, and you can continue to call, email, and text Fire Inspectors, Plan Reviewers, and administrative staff.
