Historic Profile: The house is in excellent condition, both exterior and interior. Upper attic dormers were not a part of the original plan, nor is the present garage. The salt box roof, although quite heavy, works well on this house because of the broadness of the front of the dwelling and the size of the property. This is a moderate-sized open plan house.
Parker was secretary and treasurer of the Western Motor Company of Minneapolis. A prosperous businessman, he was married in 1909, was active in civic endeavors and was a member of the Civic and Commerce Association in Minneapolis.
