Historic Profile: With its curved wall, glass block and generally ahistorical façade, the Friedell House is of the Streamline Moderne architectural style that gained a limited amount of popularity in Minneapolis. The home was built for Aaron Friedell, a pioneering doctor who founded Group Health Inc., now part of Health Partners Inc., and Naomi Friedell, a local sculptor.
