Animal Care & Control

We partner with the community to ensure the health and safety of pets and people.

What we do

We promote and support the responsible and humane care of animals through:

  • Education
  • Community outreach
  • Animal sheltering and veterinary care
  • Responsible enforcement of local and state laws about animal care, control and protection

Watch out for scam phone calls

Minneapolis Animal Care and Control continues to get reports of scam phone calls. People are posing as MACC employees and asking for money. If you receive one of these calls, please report it to 311.
