The license fee schedule includes fees for:

• Business licenses
• Rental licenses
• Animal licenses

Administrative fine schedule

The administrative fine schedule sets maximum fine amounts for violations of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances. 

• The default civil fine for violations of Title 12 of the Code of Ordinances (the Housing Code) is $250.
• The default fine for violations of any other title is $200, unless specifically listed in the administrative fine schedule.
• A repeat violation of the same type by the same person or entity in a 24-month period is subject to a fine that is double the fine for the previous violation, up to a maximum of $2000 per violation.
