What to know

Overview

This document applies to a property when the main building on the property is a one, two or three-family dwelling.

Detached accessory structures are things like:

  • Sheds
  • Garages
  • Other smaller buildings on a residential property

Accessory dwelling units (ADUs)

This document does not apply to accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
