Tank permits

You need a permit to install a gasoline or flammable liquid storage tank.

Requirements

You must complete this application at least two weeks before you:

  • Install any gasoline or flammable liquid storage tanks
  • Alter any piping from flammable liquid storage tanks

Application

 

This application is for tank installation only.

The Minneapolis Health Department issues permits for:

  • Storage tank removal or abandonment
  • Hazardous waste facilities
