Condo registration and renewal

Condominiums in Minneapolis must be registered and annually renewed.

Buildings that need to be registered

Owners of cooperatives and owner-occupied townhouses must register their buildings with the City. This does not include leasehold cooperatives.

Depending on the use of the condo or unit, you may need additional registrations.

  • Rental units within the condo must have a rental license.
