Using common questions (FAQs)

Here are the guidelines when creating a common question (FAQ) page.

Write a sentence explaining the question you're answering or topic you're covering

Add content with more detail in the Accordion Content. Remember that this information will mostly be hidden from site visitors since they have to open each accordion section manually.

Leave the Group heading field blank on the Accordion content type (see image).

Use the following wording conventions for elements in common question / FAQ pages:

Breadcrumb: Common Questions about "Topic"
- e.g., Common Questions About Flood Insurance
URI: common-questions
H1: Common questions about "topic" (page header)
- e.g., Common questions about flood insurance
Summary: Mention frequently asked questions (FAQs)
- e.g., We answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) about flood insurance.
