Kitchen exhaust duct cleaning permit

Kitchen exhaust systems need to be professionally cleaned in order to prevent fires and keep equipment running smoothly.

  • Contractors are required to apply for a permit and pay the fee before cleaning each system.
  • Allow 15 days of turnaround time when applying for a permit.
  • The City uses a web platform called ProjectDox to make the permit process more efficient.
