A backflow assembly is a water backflow prevention device. It protects potable water from contamination or pollution due to backflow.
Building code regulation
The building code regulates these devices under the regulated backflow assembly (RBA) program.
How it works
- The company that performs RBA-related work must complete and submit the the test report form.
- A certified RBA-certified tester must complete the form.
- The form must be submitted within two weeks of installing, replacing , relocating or removing a device.
