Information about the Community Connections community engagement learning lab series.

Register for all the learning labs that you are interested in. You can mix and match between the afternoon, in-person labs and the evening, online labs.

About the Community Connections series

We offer free workshops called the Community Connections learning labs. We hold the labs online and in person. They are usually 90 minutes long.

We invite:

  • Neighborhood groups
  • Partners
  • City workers

If you finish the series, you can earn a Community Connector certificate.

What you will learn

Learn about how to engage communities considering:

  • Disabilities

  • Immigration

  • Gender

  • Faith

  • History

  • Cultural media

  • Communication styles

  • Important spaces

  • Holidays and festivals
