Fire special event permit
We share about permit needs for Minneapolis events with fireworks displays, tents and more.
Step 1
Submit your application
Follow the instructions on the application. You can meet with a customer service representative to learn more about the requirements and submit your application in person.
Get help at the Minneapolis Service Center
You can also email your application to FireSpecialEvents@minneapolismn.gov.
Step 2
Gather additional information
You may need to submit additional details specific to your event. After we process your application, we’ll send you an email invitation to your ProjectDox project with instructions on how to upload additional documents if needed.
