When to use

Dynamic

Use the Explore this section (Dynamic) content type whenever your page is a parent page to other pages. This content type will automatically include any direct children of the page that are marked to appear in the navigation.

Common places for this content type include:

  • Topic navigation pages
  • Department pages with supporting pages
  • Ward pages

Manual

The Explore this section (Manual) content type has the same appearance as the dynamic one, but you will need to select each included page. Use this content type when you want more control over what pages to include.
