We share request for proposals for public art.

Cedar Field Park art project

Details

Artists and artist teams are invited to apply to design and create artwork for the East Phillips neighborhood. The art project will Native-focused. To design the artwork, the selected artists will collaborate with:

  • Little Earth residents
  • The larger Native urban community
  • City staff

Native American/American Indian/First Nations people are invited and encouraged to apply.

2025

  • November 13, 2025, 4 p.m. - Informational meeting. Attend in person or online.
  • November 24, 4 p.m. - Deadline to email your questions.
  • December 1, 2025 - Review the final posted questions and answers posted. 
  • December 8, 4 p.m. - Upload a completed application.

Steps to apply

November 2025

Attend the optional artist informational meeting on November 13, 4 p.m. Central Time.

  • To receive information about the meetings or a link to the online meeting, email Lydia Four Horns
  • A video of the meeting will be posted on the City’s website. Target date is November 17.

Fill out an Intent to Apply Form online early. 

We encourage you to fill out the Intent to Apply form as early as possible. When you do, you’ll get helpful updates about deadlines and ways we can support you during the process.

Complete the Intent to Apply form

Email any questions you have by November 24, 4 p.m. Central Time.

All questions regarding this application should be submitted by the deadline in an email to Lydia Four Horns.

Accomodations available

  • Handwritten or audio applications may be submitted upon request.

December 2025

Review the final posted questions and answers posted by December 1, 2025 Central Time.

  • The final posted questions and answers will be posted on the City’s website as an attachment to this Call for Artists.
  • If you want to be on the weekly email list to receive questions asked and answers to date, email Lydia Four Horns

Fill out an Intent to Apply Form online by December 5, 4 p.m. Central Time. 

If you didn't submit this early. be sure to to fill out the Intent to Apply form by the deadline. 

Complete the Intent to Apply form

Upload your completed application by December 8, 4 p.m., CST. 

  • Artists who have completed the online Intent to Apply form will receive an email with a link to a folder to upload your application.
  • Do not email proposals to staff.
  • Do not send links to applications through Drop Box or any other file transfer programs.
