Requirements

A Minneapolis Police Officer must be present when a company installs a wheel locking boot on the following types of vehicles:

  • Vehicles with tax exempt plates
  • Vehicles with a handicap vehicle permit
  • Marked emergency vehicles
  • United States military vehicles
