Food safety

You are responsible for food safety. This includes control of food from preparation to serving customers.

National regulations

All vending machines must be licensed and comply with applicable rules and regulations of the:  

• National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA)
• National Sanitation Foundation International (NSF)

State and City regulations

You are responsible for following State and City regulations.

Application

Vending machines in Minneapolis are required to be licensed.

Fee

Find your license fee

You must renew your license every April.

If you have a vending machine license, you may add additional machines to your current license. The vending machine license fee is applied to each machine.
