Tree servicing involves any of the following (two inches or more wide):

  • Limbs
  • Branches
  • Stumps
  • Roots

Servicing work includes:

  • Chipping
  • Cutting
  • Grinding
  • Hauling
  • Removing
  • Trimming
  • Applying pesticides to a tree

If you have a solid waste license, you do not need a tree servicing license to remove tree parts from a property. This license is also called a garbage or refuse hauler.
