North Loop mid-block crossing green stormwater infrastructure

Learn more about green infrastructure at North Loop mid-block crossing

About the project

The project added a safer pedestrian crossing option for the community in the neighborhood. GSI was included in the bump-outs, including native plants and 2 new trees. These bump-outs take stormwater from the road and sidewalk and let it soak into the ground and water the plants and trees. This creates a safer, greener space.
