Fourth St. N and S reconstruction green stormwater infrastructure

Learn about green infrastructure on Fourth Street

About the project

Fourth St. N and S was a full reconstruction project in downtown. This project addressed aging infrastructure, improved safety, and access, created a bike connection, enhanced the area, and created a complete street. The project added three bioretention basins in the boulevard, including a large basin in front of city hall. The project also added trees and native plants throughout the urbanized downtown corridor.
