Green Cost Share

The Green Cost Share program aims to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable City of Minneapolis. The Cost Share offers matching funds for commercial, industrial, multi-family, and single family properties undertaking an energy efficiency, solar, or innovative pollution reduction project. Projects contribute to the City's energy and environmental goals by reducing electricity derived greenhouse gases, particulate matter, and other dangerous pollutants.

Minneapolis Forward Rebuild Resilient

Minneapolis Forward is a citywide path to recovery and transformation stemming from the leadership of the Minneapolis Forward Community Now Coalition members, local business leaders and owners, private partners, and advocates. The aim of this initiative is to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), including immigrant-owned businesses and those damaged during civil unrest. We are targeting our Green Cost Share incentives in support of the Minneapolis Forward Rebuild Resilient effort to build our businesses back more efficient, resilient and stronger than they were before the unrest.
