Administrative Hearings

The Administrative Hearings program handles appeals of administrative citations, special assessments, decisions, and other fees and fines issued by the City.

What can I appeal?

Most types of administrative citations and special assessments are appealable to an administrative hearing officer. They also hear Utility Billing disputes and rule on Labor Standards Enforcement decisions.

If you're not sure if you can file an appeal for your issue, contact Administrative Hearings staff.
