Pedestrian Master Plan

The Minneapolis Pedestrian Master Plan is one of six components of Access Minneapolis, the City’s transportation action plan to implement the transportation policies articulated in The Minneapolis Plan.

Final plan document

The final Minneapolis Pedestrian Master Plan was adopted by City Council on 10/16/2009. 

 

Design Guidelines

In conjunction with the Minneapolis Pedestrian Master Plan, guidelines that illustrate best practices for pedestrian facility design were developed and are published as Chapter 10 of the Access Minneapolis Design Guidelines for Streets and Sidewalks.
