It's OK to Not Be OK

It's OK to Not Be OK is a year-long mental health and well-being campaign focused on mental health awareness at the City of Minneapolis.

Campaign details

It's OK to Not Be OK is designed to reduce the stigma of mental illness and create a culture that supports the mental health and well-being of employees.

Throughout the campaign you will have the opportunity to focus on how you are coping with environmental stressors and implement behavioral strategies to more effectively manage them. You will also frequently see educational opportunities and resources to help maintain your mental health and well-being. Look for details on CityTalk and the wellness webpage. We will also update this page regularly so check back often during the year.

It's OK to Not Be OK will focus on different themes quarterly. Educational materials, training and resources will be provided that related to each of these themes:

  1. Mental health awareness and anti-stigma
  2. Anxiety and depression
  3. Substance use disorder
  4. Suicide prevention
