350 South 5th Street, Room 307
Minneapolis, MN 55415

Located in Southwest Minneapolis, Windom (pdf), like its neighborhood school, is named after William Windom who served as both U.S. Senator and Secretary of the Treasury in the mid-to-late 1800s.

Windom is bordered by Diamond Lake Road on the North, 35W on the East, Crosstown 62 on the South, and Highway 121 and Lyndale Avenue on the West.

Windom Spanish Dual Immersion School and Annunciation Catholic School both serve from within its borders. Windom is also home to the Windom South Community Center and Windom South Park.

Among its activities, the Windom Community Council holds a Tots Rock event each March and a neighborhood festival every September. Business nodes within the neighborhood are served by the Nicollet-East Harriet Business Association.
