Minneapolis City TV

Minneapolis City TV is an award-winning municipal television station that is responsible for the production of programs which informs and educates Minneapolis residents and visitors about City services.


Programming includes series and special features highlighting government services. In addition to programs in English, you can learn about City services in Hmong, Somali and Spanish. Here are the times that you can watch programs in each language:

Hmoob lub cajmeem (Hmong programming): 2 a.m., 10 a.m., 7 p.m.
Barnaamijka Somaaliga (Somali programming): 2:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 7:30 p.m.
Programación en Español (Spanish programming) 3 a.m., 11 a.m., 8 p.m.

Where you can find us

Minneapolis City TV is on cable television channel 859 on Comcast and CenturyLink channel 8502 for cable subscribers in Minneapolis. Programming is also available on YouTube, which includes a robust archive of thousands of programs available on demand.
