Background and Membership

CEAC members at a conference

We are a group of 19 Minneapolis residents, appointed by City Council and the Mayor, who offer advice to the City on a number of different issues in regards to the environment, climate change and sustainable development. 

CEAC may suggest priorities for City policies, programs and projects in accordance with criteria, dealing with environmental urgency, the scale of environmental impact, ease of implementation, cost and benefits.

Meeting Agendas and Minutes

In 2020, CEAC will meet the third Wednesday of every month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at different locations across Minneapolis communities. Meetings are always open to the public.
