Traffic Signal Issues
Report the following issues online using the forms linked below and a customer service agent will address your concern.
- Questions with an asterisk (*) are required.
- You must provide an email address.
- When you submit the form you will receive an email confirming your request.
- The email will have the case number and an expected completion date for your request.
Traffic Signal Trouble
Have you seen a traffic signal that is damaged or malfunctioning?
- If the traffic signal has no power – call 911.
- This form is for reporting a light out or other damage to a traffic signal.
- Service Level Goal: This issue may take 7 days to resolve.
- Resolution: When the signal has been repaired, the supervisor or his/her designee closes out the service request.
Traffic Signal Timing Issue Complaint
Have you noticed a traffic signal that is impossible to get through or seems to cause undue delays?
Report Traffic Signal Timing Issue
- This form is for reporting timing issues where signals that are too long, too short, or skip a turn.
- Note: Emergency vehicles have the ability to change traffic signals. A bright white light flashes above the signal when a police car or ambulance changes a signal.
- Service Level Goal: This issue may take 5 days to resolve.
- Resolution:
- Traffic & Parking Services will investigate the issue and determine if an adjustment to the timing is needed.
- After analysis and approval, the Traffic Engineer or his/her designee generates an inter-office request to the Traffic Department for the signal timing change and the service request is closed out.
