Update on Minneapolis Public Works services regarding Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Public Works will maintain essential city services.

Our current operation will continue to function, providing safe drinking water to the City of Minneapolis and our wholesale customers. The Environmental Protection Agency, Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization have provided expert opinion on the safety of the public drinking water supply, reinforcing our high confidence level.

Emergency repair services will continue. This includes issues such as sewer repairs and blocked roadways. If needed, staff can shift work between operations and from preventative maintenance to more urgent responses.

Solid Waste & Recycling services will continue. To find your collection day, please visit Solid Waste & Recycling.

Public Works is making updates to the public right-of-way in response to COVID-19. See more details on Stay Healthy Streets.
