Historical Property Records
Minneapolis Development Review provides historical research of property records. Available records include, soil and piling reports, Certificates of Occupancy from 1990 to the present, Oil Burner Permits, building and remodeling permits from 1884 to the present, Permit Index Cards from 1884 to 1989, and 1934 Land Survey records.

Heritage Preservation Landmarks and Districts
Discover and research locally designated landmarks and historic districts. Designation is used by the City of Minneapolis to honor, preserve, and protect buildings or areas that represent and reflect elements of the city’s cultural, social, economic, political, architectural, or design heritage. Minneapolis has over 160 individual landmarks and 15 historic districts.

Minnesota Historical Aerial Photographs Online
Online access to over 121,000 Minnesota aerial photos. This collection includes aerial photos of Minneapolis scanned and preserved by the University of Minnesota John R. Borchert Map Library.
