MFD saves and protects life, property and the environment.

Provides the City of Minneapolis emergency medical and rescue services, community outreach, hazardous materials response.

The selection of qualified candidates includes a rating of training and experience based on the online application and supplemental materials; a physical agility test, criminal background check, pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, medical and psychological exams and department interview.
